External Pelvic Floor Training
After several years practicing, I worked with several clients who were pregnant and realized the lack of support around pelvic floor education and manual therapy. This was supported by numerous clients with pelvic floor dysfunction, unresolved chronic low back and hip pain, all as a result of previous pregnancies and Cesarian sections from many years prior. I knew there was a need for more education around the pelvic floor to better serve my clients. In July 2023, I attended a Reclaiming the Pelvic Floor training created and offered by one of my mentors, Denise Foster Scott. The training was absolutely transformative to my practice and my practice shifted to specialize with external pelvic floor manual therapy and somatic education. I started assistant teaching the pelvic floor class in March 2024 and now travel the country with Denise helping to train other practitioners in this important work.

License OR-26326, Board Certified Structural Integrator
Intra-Oral Certification, External Pelvic Floor Practitioner
Iām a Board Certified Structural Integrator and have been practicing bodywork since April 2021. After attending East West College of Healing Arts and receiving my license as a massage therapist, I took a course on structural bodywork, and was impressed with holistic and long lasting effects of the approach. It felt like the missing piece to the puzzle for me in integrating chronic pain and trauma.
While working at a chiropractic office offering structurally informed deep tissue work, I attended training at the Soma Institute of Structural Integration in Langley, WA, graduating in the spring of 2023. I have a particular interest in working with trauma on all levels and exploring the dynamics of how we hold those traumas in the mind, body, and spirit. I enjoy working with my clients on embodiment and learning how to inhabit all parts of themselves. Receiving Structural Integration series was a life-changing experience that allowed me to find my center and live my life as authentically as possible. My own journey of integration has included craniosacral therapy, yoga, meditation, shamanic healing, talk therapy, EMDR, and connecting with nature.
Inner Dynamics Alliance for Structural Integration - IDA-SI
Shortly after finishing my program, I knew structural integration was a bodywork that everyone should have the opportunity to experience this work. I recognized how few SI programs are available and felt Portland was ready for one. In October 2023, I began networking with a small group of SI practitioners and mentors in Portland to lay the groundwork for building a program. Our mission is to expand the reach of SI education and services, making this transformative work available to those who may otherwise be unable to access it due to geographic and financial limitations. In May 2024, we officially registered IDA-SI as a business in Oregon, and by June 2024, we became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, marking a significant milestone in our journey. We also received recognition from the International Association of Structural Integration (IASI), becoming one of only 14 approved SI basic training programs globally. We will be offering our first training in 2026.
